Home About Our History

In 1993, Mr. Feng Tao, the founder of Eplus3D, presided over the development of China's first Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) equipment; In 2002, Mr. Feng cooperated with South China University of Technology, developed China's first Selective Laser Melting (SLM) AM equipment.

Today, Eplus3D has become a global leader in the industrial 3D printing of metals and offers integrated solutions in metal additive manufacturing. The company currently has established four facilities in Beijing, Hangzhou, Stuttgart, Germany, and Houston, USA, with its equipment exported to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.

    Germany Subsidiary: Hosted the 4th Global Partners Summit

    Launched: Introduced EP-M550, featuring a build volume of up to 550 × 550 × 450 mm. It is a multi-laser system designed to ensure high efficiency production in a compact footprint.

    Partnership:

    Partners with AM Futures to offer tailored metal AM solutions in UK, Empowered TEMISTh to revolutionize metal AM solution in thermal solutions, Supported INNOSPACE's in achieving advanced launch services and in-house production, Collaborated with UCL Rocket to successfully develop and test a regeneratively cooled rocket engine and swirl injector.

    Milestone: Successfully delivered over 100 super-meter metal PBF machines worldwide.

    Technology Breakthrough: Achieved a breakthrough in red-laser printing technology for large-scale copper alloy components.

    Hangzhou Headquarters: Hosted the 3rd Global Partners Summit 2024, celebrating the 10th anniversary

    Launched: EP-M2050, featuring a 2050x2050x1100mm build volume with 36-laser MPBF™ technology, delivers high-precision production for aerospace and industrial applications.

    EP-M4750, featuring a build chamber of 450x750x530mm, is ideal for printing wide components, offering a cost-effective solution for automotive and other industries.

    EP-M400S, 400x400x450mm build volume with top feeding powder hoppers and bi-directional powder re-coating, reducing dosing time by 30% for efficient closed-loop powder circulation.

    Partnership: Collaborated with LEAP 71 to develop the world’s largest metal-printed rocket thruster (showcased at Formnext 2024),  Partnered with MÖVE to build the world's first 3D-printed titanium monocoque bicycle frame with full battery integration.
